Stanislaw Domaniewski (2013 BSSRPL)

Stanislaw Domaniewski Picture - cropIs a Phd Candidate at the University of Eastern Finland. He is currently working as a researcher at the Karelian Instute in Joensuu Finland. Stanislaw obtained his Master’s in Human Geography from the University of Joensuu and holds two BA’s in History and Political Science from Rutgers University. He is currently working with issues concerning the Russian Polish border.


 

Anna Maciejewska (2013 BSSRPL)

Maciejewska photo - cropAnna Maciejewska graduated from the University of Lodz, Poland (MA, 1993) and obtained her PhD (2002) from the same University; in the meantime she finished postgraduate studies in general linguistics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece (1997). She is also a holder of a diploma in classical singing (2007, secondary education – mezzosoprano). Now she is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Lodz (Chair of Classical Philology), teaching Latin at all levels, modern Greek, vocal emission for teachers. Her field of research is music in Greco-Roman antiquity, but she specialises in translating, mainly Greek texts, to Polish. She is a member of – informal and not too numerous in our world – Latin speaking community; she is active as Latin writer (poems, short comedies and a vaudeville), amateur actress and conductor of an amateur vocal ensemble.

Olga Chimczak (2012 ISSRPL)

Olga Chimczak comes from Poland. She has worked as a teacher in Physics in a high school in Brzeg. Apart from teaching she has also additional functions being school co-ordinator for UNESCO, supervisor of the School European Club and trainer in Human Rights education. She is also interested in a wide range of social learning. Having cooperation with Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights in Warsaw, she took part in many projects for NGO-s working in Poland and abroad. After participating in training programme on Collaborative Negotiations and Mediations, conducted in Poland by Conflict Resolution, Research and Resource Center from Tacoma /USA/, she is dealing with these issues as a court mediator. Her interests about civic education cause her participating in many activities in public life and round different religions. She is an opened person for new challenges.


Alina Mitskovksa (2003, 2004 ISSRPL)
